Today we met our Realtor for the first time, walked through 5 different houses, and could not believe the trash that was out there. We saw a house that was so dirty, so stinky, so badly taken care of that it really needs to just be demolished and rebuilt from the ground up. I have never seen anything like that in my life. This house did not have one single wall that hadn't been scribbled on by kids with markers. It didn't have one inch or carpet that wasn't stained or had holes in it. There were holes in doors and walls and every room had a crazy dark color on it that would take removing the drywall to get off. I could not believe it!!
Then there was the house that had a beautiful layout, it was clean and well taken care off. The basement is not finished to our imaginations started to go wild!! It was beautiful, we loved it so much, we decided to make an offer on it. Now I left the house this morning with every intention of taking things very slow and looking around until we found the one. Well I think we did that today. We should know by Monday at 5 if our offer was accepted or not.
Everything is moving so fast that my head is still spinning with the day we had. Our Realtor is very sweet and easy to talk to, the lender was wonderful and approved us almost instantly, and the house was just perfect. How does this happen?!? I will keep you updated on how it is going, me might be in a house by July 4th!
